User Manual for Attendance Percentage Calculator
Overview
The Attendance Percentage Calculator is a web-based tool designed to help students and professionals track their attendance, calculate their current percentage, and determine how many classes they can miss or need to attend to meet a customizable minimum attendance requirement. The calculator features a progress bar, a pie chart, and detailed calculation outputs, all wrapped in a user-friendly interface with dark and light theme options.

Features
Input Fields : Enter Total Classes, Attended Classes, and Minimum Required Percentage (defaults to 75%).
Progress Bar : Displays current percentage, red if below minimum, green if at or above.
Pie Chart : Visual breakdown of attended vs. missed classes.
Output Messages : Actionable insights with detailed calculations.
Theme Toggle : Switch between dark (default) and light themes.
Requirements
A modern web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
Internet connection (for initial load, uses Chart.js).
No additional software required.
How to Use the Calculator
Step 1: Access the Calculator
Open in your browser; it loads in dark theme by default.
Step 2: Enter Your Data
Total Classes : Input total scheduled classes (e.g., 100). Use whole numbers.
Attended Classes : Input classes attended (e.g., 70). Must be ≤ Total.
Minimum Required Percentage : Set desired minimum (e.g., 75). Defaults to 75%, adjust 0-100.
Results update as you type.
Step 3: Interpret the Results
Progress Bar : Shows percentage (e.g., "70.00%"), red if below minimum, green if at/above.
Pie Chart : Green for attended, red for missed (Total - Attended).
Step 4: Switch Themes (Optional)
Click "Toggle Mode" (top-right) to switch between dark and light themes.
Troubleshooting
Issue Solution
"Please enter valid positive numbers" Ensure Total and Attended are positive whole numbers.
"Attended classes cannot exceed total" Check Attended ≤ Total.
"Total classes cannot be zero" Enter Total > 0.
"Please enter a valid percentage" Set Minimum between 0 and 100.
Progress bar stuck at 0% Verify inputs; refresh if needed.
Pie chart not updating Ensure valid inputs.
Tips
Quick Testing : Try Total: 100, Attended: 80, Min: 75 (bunk) or Total: 100, Attended: 60, Min: 80 (attend).
Theme : Use dark mode for low light, light mode for bright settings.
Real-Time : Experiment with values as results update instantly.
